| | Yankees Stadium is set to host its last game this weekend and with it there's been a ton of coverage. Sure, there's a lot of history in the place. But there's almost no mention of Shea Stadium's last season. Even in ESPN broadcasts of Mets games, the discussion turns to Yankees Stadium... Hopefully after this weekend some attention will be paid to the less-famous and forgotten venue where some of my earliest memories have been implanted into my brain (Mets World Series in 1986 when I was 6 years old).
